The Archer Drill Powered Lock Morticer has for over 15 years, been recognised in the trade as one of the best value and simplest self-centring jigs for cutting mortises for door locks.Its drive shaft accepts 1/4″ shank router bits or the Porter Cable style mortise cutters (3 supplied). It cuts to a maximum depth of 100mm, with the mortise length being variable by adjusting the included clamping heads. The height gauge hooks on top of a door or it can be inverted to set the unit at a pre-set height over the floor, making batch work a breeze.
Please Note: Power drill not included. Not for use with routers. We recommend a mains powered drill for best results.
